Social Media Strategy Practical Assignment

During the 2024 semester, I was enrolled in a course at UNLV titled "Social Media Strategy" and the final assessment of my learning was a practical assignment where I had to audit, strategize, and create content for a Las Vegas business of my choosing. I chose Sunright Tea Studio, a boba shop that recently expanded to the Las Vegas area in the past year.The requirements were as follows:
1.) Audit the account's current social media
2.) Devise a list of content pillars, & determine the brand's values, voice, and personality
3.) Create audience personas, & include their geographic, demographic, behavioral, and psychographic needs/wants
4.) Do a competitor analysis
5.) Re-write the Instagram Bio to create trackable leads
6.) Develop a long-term strategy, and how that strategy should be evaluated for success
7.) Create 4 different types of content: Informational about the product/service, appeals to the audience, contest, & gathering UGC.

Spitfire Social Media - Content Apprentice

At the beginning of 2025, I had the great pleasure of becoming a content apprentice for Spitfire Social Media, a paid & organic social media marketing agency. Below are some of my involvements in this position:↳ Edited videos for organic & paid clients.
↳ Audited clients' Meta Ads campaigns, analyzed successes in campaign implementation, and made recommendations to increase ROAS.
↳ Generated a Meta Ads Strategy Proposal for a new client, which led to increased productivity for supervisors.

UNLV Rebel Media Group - Internship & Team Lead

From the start of 2024, I served as a member of Rebel Media Group, an on-campus social media agency that allows students to get a grasp of working in the world of social media marketing. Below is a snapshot of some of the skills I acquired in this positon:↳ Brainstormed 3-4 content ideas per channel per week to ensure frequent engagement with our audience.

I served as the UNLV Panhellenic Council's Vice President of Marketing from September 2022 - December 2023, where I managed the official website, Instagram, merchandise, GIFs, flyers, and advertisements. Below are some of my accomplishments in this position:↳ Posted 235+ Instagram Posts, a 75% increase from the previous term, which led to an engagement increase of 127% from the previous year.
↳ Created and published GIFs that garnered over 113.3 million views.

UNLV Housing - Student Marketing Assistant

In the summer of 2022, I was promoted to Marketing Assistant for UNLV Housing & Residential Life (HRL). Within this position, I have been responsible for creating, managing, and updating a monthly newsletter, TV "billboards" throughout the residence complexes, and all promotional marketing materials. Below are some of my accomplishments in this position:↳ Worked alongside university staff to implement marketing initiatives that increased residential applications by 20% and long-term retention by 15%.
↳ Created promotional material for the HRL division that will be used until 2028.
↳ Revitalized the TV billboards and newsletter that had been canceled due to COVID-19.

Gamma Phi Beta - Internal Philanthropy Chairwoman

In 2022, I served as the Eta Rho Chapter of Gamma Phi Beta's Internal Philanthropy Chairwoman. In this position, I planned and put on our annual philanthropy event, Moonball, which includes all the marketing. Below are some of my accomplishments in this position:↳ Raised over $11,000 for Girls on the Run Las Vegas; Doubling what was raised the previous year.
↳ Acquired 5 sponsors, a first for the Eta Rho Chapter.
